Designed to create a calming and unprovocative interior space for rest and relaxation, this VIP Cabin interior is a stand-alone design situated on a 44-metre motor yacht. The ideal persona for this cabin, a middle-aged socialite who sails frequently with friends and family, is in dire need of a calming and nurturing interior space to unwind by themself. Muted but strategic colours evoke the feeling of being in a private sanctuary dedicated to mental peace and reflection. The design is grounded by an inboard "band of service" which hosts key utilitarian elements, such as the wardrobes, storage, toilet, HVAC, bookshelves, and entertainment devices. Through clarity in programmatic structure, this interior design provides space for quiet in the midst of a bustling social scene.
